Why is Germany more dependent on Russian energy than almost any other country? – Because some German energy companies for years ignored all warnings and led Germany into energy dependency – especially on natural gas. German corporations transferred more than 19 billion euros to Russia for fossil energy in the first six months of Russia’s major attack on Ukraine alone – thus are helping to finance the war.

Whether uniper, Wintershall Dea / BASF, RWE or EnBW – almost all major German energy companies have earned billions with cheap Russian gas in recent years and have gone along with exactly what Putin wanted: they led Germany into a disastrous energy dependency. They are #PutinsDealer.
